Marina Program

Marina inspections are conducted to ensure that boating facilities are maintained is a safe and sanitary manner. The safe condition and proper function of moorings, safety equipment, and electrical systems are a primary focus during our annual inspections. Drinking water supply lines are inspected to ensure that proper backflow prevention devices are installed to avoid cross contamination from lake water. Measures are also taken to ensure that the environment is protected by inspecting sewage disposal methods, bathroom facilities, and sewage pump-out services.

This department remains committed to marina operators and the general public and is available to provide assistance and information regarding new rules or any emerging issues, which impact your community.
