Radon
Radon
January is National Radon Action Month. Radon gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer after cigaretta smoking. It is a colorless, odorless radioactive gas that is naturally occuring in the soil that can get into our homes through small cracks and sump pumps. Reducing radon levels in the home is easy and inexpensive. The only way to find out if your home has radon gas is to test for it.
